This innovative, stand out tea company is known for their playful flavours / packaging and has committed to eliminate plastic from their packaging by using fully reusable, recyclable or compostable materials by the end of 2020. BRIEF
TO PACK: 20 tea sachets and a mug
GOALS: create a unique opening experience; communicate the story of Christmas; efficient for transport and hand assembly.
ADDLESS MISSION
To create packaging that is glue free and contains no solvent, no plastic coating, minimizes packaging size and materials while protecting content for transport; communicates the client’s brand identity and fulfills brief. We also considered visual symbols of Christmas, materials and structures that match the brief and how to spark the emotion of Christmas.
RESULT
A beautiful five point Christmas star display gift box that communicates the story of Christmas with the surprise of an inner star that emerges upon the unboxing experience; utilizes the tea sachets to protect the mug itself, thereby minimizing packaging materials; is fully recyclable and biodegradable, made with glueless FSC paper, reusable as a display case for other T2 products; stands out and sparks fun - engaging consumer interaction with the T2 brand, in-store and on social media.
